STATE-OF-DESIGN-BERLIN — a newly founded design festival — presents a series of SISTER BLISTER light object at the exhibition SOMETHING FROM NOTHING.
Karl & Fidel will be the next few days in Berlin and lead a public discussion/workshop on the topics HEALTH + DESIGN — DESIGN & HEALTH.

GARNITUR a new sofa system for public and private residential areas will be presented with the exhibition BACK AHEAD ‹ NEW AUSTRIAN DESIGN PERSPECTIVES from 12–17 April in Milano (VILLA NECCHI CAMPIGLIO ‹ VIA MOZART 14 ‹ 20122 MILANO ‹ daily from 9 a.m.)
GARNITUR is a furniture family made of solid larch wood and leather/fabric upholstery. The entire line of furniture consists of an armchair and different couches. GARNITUR offers a various colour designs. Both the pickled larch wood and the upholstery can be individually customized. Producer: KOHLMAIER.WIEN.
We proudly announce that the 2D brain of Walking Chair - Fidel Peugeot has become a member of the AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale) by suggestion of Clemens Schedler in 2015. Some call it an élite club, others a network of like-minded brilliant creatives seeking the exchange with others. But not only professionally but also interculturally with 370 members from all over the world such as Ed Fella. Congratulations Fidel!
The Typography of W*ORT, a space for words and creative writing in the heart of Lustenau, run by a public and private collaboration, has been taken to the next rounds. Due to the wish of producing products with the W*ORT font easily but hand-crafted, we transferred the digitally drawn font to an analog alphabet made out of beech wood. In October the maiden print on a Letterpress took place in Lustenau, thanks to our friends at Druckwerk. more
The simplest bar of the world is now availabe mass-produced by Croy. Developed in 2007/08 it consists of two EU-palets plus only four connecting elements and can be set up in two minutes. The bar is robust - 100 % suitable for outdoor, flexible – fits in a usual car if paletts are at the event location and can be individually designed with your logo. Not only huge soft drink producers value the simplicity also the beer bench is good friends with out EU-palett bar.

Celebrating it’s 11th year existence the packaging cluster „V-Pack“ ordered one of our already well-recognised Pet Light Trees for their exhibition „Elfer“. Our Pet Light Tree, this time in XL with a height of about 4 metres and a total amount of 700 used bottles was a beaming addition to the common projects and efforts of the Vorarlberger cluster which were displayed in the Vorarlberger Landhaus from October 22 until Noveber 6 2015. more

Within the exhibition for the 7th Recycling Design Prize we were invited to display our Sister Blister Red Headed, Sister Blister Dog and several MY SisterBlisters at the Kiosk24 of the Marta Herford Museum. The exhibition took place from the 6th September until November 1st 2015. Furthermore Fidel crowned a bunch of Sister Blister queens and kings during a Workshop on September 2nd in the Museum Marta Herford.
The recently with the „Betrieblichen Sozialpreis“ honoured Marien Apotheke Wien with its about 45 mainly feminine workers talks, chatters and advises in many languages. This social and multiculteral background was our inspiration for the new textile shopping bag on the one hand and the new organic waste bag made from maize starch on the other hand – both 100% recyclable of course. Designed with the Aspirin font the bags say a short hello to Maria, Mariahilf and to you. more
„Schön, dass Sie da sind – Lovely, that you are here“ flatters the new Polo of the Marien Apotheke Wien and simultaneously embodies the advising concept in the pharmacy – open talks in any medical matter. This small piece of graphic work grandstands not only brand and logo via an upscale reinterpretation of the Polo-Shirt but also makes out of „Maria’na“ - „Ma ria“.
Our proposal for the new 68cent stamp on the occasion of this year’s brand contest „Faktor Zukunft“ announced by diePresse & PostAG, is the smallest info graphic for the service provider. It is not only a symbol for the future development of this particular service, but also gives pieces of information about which formats can be sent by 68 cents – which we usually tend to forget easily. For this reason we are convinced that well addressed communication is a benefit for everyone and can even be realized on a tiny stamp.

Following an invitation of the Ministry of Science, Research and Economy as well as the Austrian Federal Economic chamber we took part in the „Austrian Design Explosion“ an exhibition at La Triennale di Milano. Our studio was selected to show the Walking Chair and the Red Headed Sister Blister among a total of 120 other Austrian companies and creatives such as Helmut Lang, Franz West and Stefan Sagmeister. Curated by Robert Punkendorfer and set into scene by Dieter Spath the exhibition celebrates Austria’s participation at the EXPO 2015 and highlights Austria’s cutting-edge design and industry landscape.

Inspired by Le Corbusier, named Jean Paul, produced by Kohlmaier and daily partner of Wolfgang Kos in the head office of Wien Museum for over 10 years. After numerous coffee breaks, reading papers, talking business, taking a nap,... together Wolfgang Kos moves offices and leaves Jean Paul to the official Collection of the Wien Museum. End of a lovestory? Well, a new lounge chair called „Wolfgang Kos“, formerly known as „Jean Paul“ adornes his new office rooms soon.

„New Power“ is the title of our 10x12 cm canvas, which we were given by Peter Noever in 2013 in order to be part of Austria’s contribution to Luciano Benetton’s art project Imago Mundi. By now „Vienna for Art’s Sake“ is not only a collection of contemporary art but the result of an unconventional curating approach by Peter Noever, a published book and the first Archive in the Collection to be displayed entirely. Between February 27 and May 31 all 161 pieces of Artists/Architects/Designers connected to Vienna, not necessarily born here, were shown in the Belvedere Winterpalais. Now the exhibition will travel the world, visiting a number of cities in Europe and America.
Maybe you haven’t noticed yet but miniature Minigolf is a sport with very strict rules – one of them is the exact number of 28 definite holes, which have been the same since 1954. For the 34 issue of the Fleisch magazine we were among others invited to push the holes into the 21st century. „Stuhl mit schwingendem Bein“ is a chair obstacle to play against time: once the chair leg has been pushed the player has the chance to putt the ball past the obstacle. Walking Chair Studio + miniature minigolf = Swinging chair!
Since this year one of our Sister Blister lamps illuminates the bathroom of our long standing friend Daniela Berthin in her Viennese appartement. Relaxing in her home spa in winter she is busy producing delicious ice cream in the „El Bertin“ in Schaffhausen, Switzerland in summer. During this period of time she rents out her apartment – check out the little apartment and enjoy some hours/days/weeks in Sister Blister atmosphere.
Our latest still nameless SISTER BLISTER light object will be presented at PASSAGEN in Cologne by an invitation of Udo Holtekamp from the German Recycling Design Prize. The exhibition will be open from 19. – 25. JAN 2015 (daily from noon to 9 pm). On thursday 20. January 6 pm. we invite you to our SISTER BLISTER workshop.

MY SISTER BLISTER is the smallest object in the family working as a desk-, wall- or ceiling-lamp in private living spaces or public interiors. This eye catcher and dwelling-amplifier is pure craftsmanship completely made by hand from recycled blisters. The original pieces are made in small numbers and selected colors with pharmaceutical tablet blister-packaging. MY SISTER BLISTER comes in a handy gift-box and works with all standard lamps with E14 sockets up to 40 Watt. We recommend the 3 Watt LED lamp from LEDON. She was our very first client and still is: MARIEN APOTHEKE WIEN and her visionary owner Karin Simonitsch. In the last years we did a new digital typeface, an new architecture for the infrastructure spaces in the pharmacy and many new products like DAS PARFUM or MARIE CITRON. Since 2007 we work with the recyled pharmaceutical packaging material that comes from MARIEN APOTHEKE and we invented the product family of SISTER BLISTER. Now we present a complete new interior showroom completed with a heaven of Sister Blister. more
Design follows content! And Engineering follows always the rules of the physics. The newly developed MIRROR HEAD will be able to project with standard projectors on different 3D objects and spaces with an more than 270° angles. The creative tool is made by the Austrian company DYNAMIC PROJECTION (Thomas H. Kühne and his team) andcomes with an easy-to-handle software that allows a comlpete new way of projection. We have been invited to do design the product. Soon we will have a dynamic projection in our Vienna based showroom…
