Walking Chair’s successful realization of the Vöslauer Mineralwater Bar attracted the attention of the sister company Ottakringer, a traditional Austrian brewing company (Holding Ottakringer Getränke AG). Ottakringer is not only Vienna's last grand, old brewery (175 years) but one of the last large, independent breweries in Austria. Due to its independence and also the urban location at the 16th District (former working-class district) Ottakringer has always been part of Vienna's leisure, cultural and city life. Walking Chair designed a flexible, lit-up bar front for the event area Hefeboden, with a counter that offers enough space for the innovative and attention-grabbing taps, glasses and opener. Besides the Ottakringer Bar with its unique, lit up tap attachments, a new line of advertising material containing an innovative bottle opener and a creative series of beer glasses (0,3l & 0,5l) resulted from the cooperation throughout the last years.
