Projects - Puff Bar

In the end of 2012 Walking Chair was invited to conduct the first gastronomic project of two rookie gastronomes (Matthias Euler-Rolle and Thomas Polak), who finally wanted to fulfill their dream of having their own bar. The location – an old brothel – was to be redesigned without any big structural alterations. Therefore, the design-duo decided to re–stage the room with a colossal, all–new light design. Besides the enormous light installation, designer pieces like the drink mixer made of old glass and porcelain pieces, and lamps made of PET bottles brought the concept full circle.

The development of the logos and corporate identity, as well as the name, come from the Walking Chair Design Studio. Particularly the name Puff – in German a colloquial for brothel – and the room design brought a lot of media interest.
